II. Call for Abstracts

We cordially invite you to submit an abstract to the 4th East-Asia Microscopy Conference (EAMC4) that will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, from Dec 03 to 05, 2022. Abstracts are solicited on any topic pertaining to the scope of the conference. The topics are associated with the style of presentation (Invited, Oral and Poster). Authors of contributed abstracts can choose the presentation type from oral or poster during the process of online abstract submission. However, please note that Organizing Committee has the right to decide the final presentation style for each abstract.

The author (not invited speaker) can submit only one abstract for EAMC4. Two or more abstracts cannot be submitted.

Invited speakers (IS) may submit second abstract in addition to their invited talk. Please note that invited speakers must still register and pay for the EAMC4 registration fee. 

Abstracts and Photos will be reviewed by the program committee for acceptance. EAMC4 acceptance confirmation email will specify whether you need to pay for the meeting registration.

III. Photo Contest

This competition rewards the innovative blending of art and technique. Award will be given to the photo with "the most popular votes" in each category.

Criteria
  • Entries must be scientifically significant
  • Entries must contain novel information useful in resolving a scientific issue and/or artistic beauty,
  • Present established information in a way that dramatically enhances its comprehension or interpretation.
Rules
  • Please prepare your microscope photo (in different files), fill in the Photo Contest Form and submit it by June 30, 2022.
  • Award will be given to the photo with "the most popular votes" in each category. List of categories:
    • P1. Optical microscope, OM.
    • P2. Scanning electron microscope, SEM.
    • P3. (Scanning) Transmission electron microscope, (S)TEM.
    • P4. 3D & in-situ TEM/STEM.
    • P5. Cryo-electron microscope, Cryo-EM.
    • P6. Other.

IV. Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission and Create Login account
  • If you are first time to submit the abstract, please click the button “Abstract Submission” to create your EAMC4 Login account and submit abstracts and/or photos (for Photo Contest).
  • Plenary and Keynote speakers do not have to submit and register on-line.

To Revise Your Submission and Registration information
  • If you wish to revise an already submitted abstract and registration information, please enter the email address and password, and click the button “ Log in”. You can revise or confirm the abstract and registration information as many times as you wish up until the deadline.
  • To cancel your submission, you should inform the Abstract Submission Office in writing (E-mail: eamc4secretariat@gmail.com).
