About EAMC4

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to EAMC4, the novelty of inner space.

EAMC4

On behalf of the organizing committee of the 4th East-Asia Microscopy Conference (EAMC4), the Microscopy Society of Taiwan, cordially invites you to participate in the conference which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan during the period of December 3 to 5, 2022.

East-Asia Microscopy Conference is one of the leading conferences on microscopy and microanalysis. There has been three successful and inspiring meetings in Chongqing, China (2013), Himeji, Japan (2015), Busan, Korea (2017). Now, the wonderful journey comes to Taipei, a city that mixes innovative atmosphere and classical culture.

The EAMC, held every two years under the auspices of the Committee of Asia Pacific Societies for Microscopy (CPASM) and the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy (IFSM), is an international forum of state-of-the-art microscopy for solution of scientific problems including those in the materials and life sciences. We, the Microscopy Society of Taiwan (MST), is very honored to host EAMC4.

Due to the global concern around COVID-19 and entry restrictions for foreigners to Taiwan, EAMC4 will be held in hybrid format. The EAMC4 includes various exciting research topics mainly from East-Asia countries, such as advanced microscopy development and application of instruments and techniques, materials science, and life science.

(1).On December 3, 2022, the in-person conference will be held at the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. The first-day event features live sessions, including 1 plenary speaker, 1 keynote speaker, 6 invited speakers, and several oral presentations from Taiwan researchers which will be ONLY open to local attendees. The presentations will be recorded via video and open on the website for overseas attendees.

(2).On December 4-5, 2022, the EAMC4 will held a virtual conference with a video presentation on-demand on the conference website. For overseas attendees who cannot travel to Taiwan due to COVID-19 concerns, please don’t miss the Virtual Conference, which will remain for a month, provides a unique opportunity to access around hundred contributed presentations on-demand.
